  1. I made this today for my husband and a guest, and we each liked it. I used leftover ham from a bone-in ham and non salt seasoning on top, and it turned out great.

  2. Good recipe almost followed it, used 6 slices of Italian bread from a bakery, added bacon and ham and used brown mustard because I didn't have dry. Baking time was perfect. Family loved it!

  3. This was simple and quick to assemble. However, it didn't appeal to me (and I'm an egg and ham lover). The flavor was bland and the texture confusing. I really wanted to like this, but I'll make a frittata next time.

  4. This is a nice basic recipe. You can do any variety of things to change it up when you want to. Very very easy and quick to make with ingredients you have on hand. This time all I did different was to use spiral ham and add minced garlic.

  5. I was a big fan of how simple this recipe was to assemble. Then I tasted it. It was a disappointment. I put one less slice of bread and a few more eggs than the recipe called for, and it still tasted mostly of bread. It was bland and my guests left half the pan untouched. This was a fail in my opinion.

Tweaks

  1. Delicious! I substituted bacon for the ham, and added some diced green peppers, and it was wonderful. No leftovers with this dish! The best part? My husband who works 3rd shift ate this for breakfast when he got home in the morning. This can really be served any time of day. Definitely will make this again!
